Can I make a payment out via ACH or other local clearing schemes?
Freemarket supports access to a range of local clearing schemes, including ACH in the United States, as well as other domestic payment schemes in selected currencies and countries.
Payments can only be processed via ACH in the domestic currency and if the payment is going to a beneficiary account based in the same country or region as the clearing system. Please note that this may vary depending on the banking partner.
Supported currencies for local clearing include (but not limited to):
AUD, CAD, CHF, EUR, GBP, HKD, HUF, ILS, INR, MAD, NOK, NZD, PLN, SGD, TND, and USD.
The Freemarket platform automatically selects the most appropriate route for each payment based on the destination, currency and available banking partners. Local rails are prioritised where possible, but are not guaranteed.
If you have a specific local scheme or route in mind, please contact your relationship manager to confirm whether it is supported for your use case.
